Readers who have been exposed to hosiery machines generally have heard the term "circle forming mechanism". So, what is its function? What is the structure? I believe that this is also a problem that many readers need to understand. This article mainly briefly introduces the role and composition of the circle-forming mechanism.
For the double hosiery machine, the loop forming mechanism is the technical core, which is mainly composed of two-head tongue needle, needle guide, sinker, grating teeth, yarn guide and so on. The double-needle computer sock machine controls the knitting needle movement system through the electronic needle selector, controls the knitting needle to achieve the corresponding knitting position under the guidance of the electronic program, and completes the knitting of the coil together with the triangle system and the auxiliary looping mechanism.
Its main components are shown in the following figure.
(1) Double-headed tongue needle
It consists of needle pole 1, needle 2, needle hook 3 and needle tongue 4. The double-headed tongue needle has two ways: double-headed elbow needle and double-headed straight needle. On the basis of rational design of needle body arc, the former can obtain a strong degree of fatigue resistance. It is made of high quality T9A carbon steel wire, thus maintaining its good elasticity. The double-head tongue needle is arranged in the upper and lower needle grooves and is controlled by the guide needle sheet for knitting movement.
(2) Settler
It consists of one nose, two throats, three shoulders and four heels. The settler is arranged on the settler base of the lower needle barrel at a uniform interval with two tongue needles, and the settler moves radially and arc in the triangular ring track of the settler. At the end of looping, the yarn is cushioned and the drawing coil is held at the end of looping.
(3) grille teeth
It consists of tooth tip 1, plane 2 and tooth bell 3. It rotates synchronously with the needle barrel in spaced arrangement with the two-head tongue needle. When the two-head tongue needle is circled, it replaces the settler to hold the upper barrel coil to balance the length of the upper and lower barrels.
(4) Needle Guide
It consists of a guide pin hook 1, a sheet rod 2, a guide pin 3, a work heel 4, a transfer heel 5 and a guide pin mouth 6. The guide needle hook is used to catch the needle hook of the two-head tongue needle, and together with the guide needle shoulder, it drives the two-head tongue needle to move up and down along the needle groove, which is a collision process between two elastomers.
